Lion Scouts begin their journey through fun, family-centered activities. With a parent or adult partner, they explore the basics of teamwork, sharing, and trying new things—building confidence through simple adventures and early exposure to the Scouting experience.

Tiger Scouts start building independence while still working closely with family. They explore nature, learn basic skills, and begin participating in group activities—developing curiosity, confidence, and a sense of belonging within the pack.

Wolf Scouts take on more responsibility as they build practical skills and work more independently. Through hands-on activities, they strengthen problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and confidence while continuing to explore the world around them.

Bear Scouts deepen their skills and begin tackling more complex challenges. They focus on outdoor experiences, responsibility, and leadership basics—gaining confidence as they take more ownership of their progress and contributions.

Webelos Scouts transition toward greater independence and leadership. They build advanced skills, explore new interests, and prepare for the next stage of Scouting by working more as a team and taking initiative in activities.

Arrow of Light Scouts complete the highest Cub Scout rank, preparing to transition into Scouts BSA. They refine leadership, outdoor, and teamwork skills while gaining the confidence and capability to take on bigger challenges ahead.
